Procedure execution is reviewed with the calibration event, not through a separate approval workflow.
- Open the event awaiting approval.
- Confirm the frozen procedure code, title, revision, approval, effective identity, and content hash.
- Review the ordered step outcomes, including failed captured evidence, completion membership IDs, and timestamps.
- Inspect skipped or not-applicable steps and every controlled deviation, including its authorising membership and timestamp.
- Review linked measurements, reference-standard usage, traceability, certificates and controlled evidence.
- Review Metra submission readiness and reviewer eligibility. The performer, submitter, execution starter or completer, any step completer, and any deviation authoriser cannot approve the event.
- Approve the event only when all evidence is satisfactory, or reject it with a correction reason.
Rejection preserves the submitted execution snapshot. Corrections create a new current evidence revision and never overwrite what was reviewed previously.
Generated ISO 17025 dossiers include the approved procedure revision, frozen execution responses, deviations and linked evidence for the selected event scope.
Review a device from a group session
Open Independent review for the device from Device overview, or open its event awaiting approval from Calibration work. The decision applies to that device's event. Selecting and submitting several devices from a group does not approve any of them.
- Check the equipment and requirement before reviewing results. Multiple requirements on the same asset remain separate events.
- Inspect Shared procedure evidence for this device. Check its linked revision identifier, content hash, recording membership, time and correction reason where present. Expand each response to inspect the actual shared operation, point and attributed observation.
- Compare the device's indication with the exact observed reference it used. A bath setpoint is not the measured reference, and the group's newest observation may differ from this device's frozen evidence.
- Review the device's own inspections, measurements, reference-standard assessments, uncertainty, conformity, result and required certificate evidence. A shared reference selection does not replace its individual fitness assessment.
- Check reviewer eligibility. Shared-evidence contributors and correction adopters are included in independence checks alongside the device's other contributors. Access to a review page does not itself make you eligible to approve it.
- Make this device's normal approval or rejection decision. Use Next device to open the next device's own review; no declaration or decision is reused.
When permitted, Open group calibration session provides the shared context. Individual evidence remains readable according to its normal permissions even when a group link is unavailable. Failed and indeterminate results retain their investigation and release controls; completing operational work is not a release decision.
Review a shared correction's impact
Use Shared correction impacts in the group session to compare the previous and corrected observations for each affected device. An editable device must explicitly adopt the latest correction and revalidate its evidence. The adopter needs the normal authority for the actual site and becomes an evidence contributor.
Submitted or approved devices keep their original frozen revision. Follow Open individual review or amendment and use the normal controlled correction or replacement workflow. An approved replacement can be linked as Addressed by approved amendment. A withdrawn device still retains its earlier evidence and may require controlled handling; withdrawal alone does not amend an approved result or certificate.
Creating a later shared revision never silently updates the evidence you are reviewing. Resolve the impact for the particular device and review the resulting current submission before approving it. See Calibrate a group of devices for recording and adopting corrections.
